  2. 1. The most valuable thing I learned from the First Year Experience video is that there are a lot of activities, programs, and opportunities to help me in my first year of attending San Jac. Such as career workshops, time management, study skills, and also scholarship workshops, in which can help me figure out my career plans and further my learning experience. I can use this information to help me become a better student by attending career workshops in order to figure out my major and which degree plan I would like to pursue. Career workshops are not the only way for me to become a more successful student, in fact there are multiple programs for student success. For example, study skills gives me the knowledge of the information that I need to know in order to keep me on track and focused towards my goals for all courses throughout the semester. These are just a few of the many ways I have discovered to be helpful in becoming a more successful student using San Jac's First Year Experience programs. Nicolas P. (GUST 0305.707)

    4. I found that the most valuable information was that there are so many different types of financial aid. I just thought that there were only FASFA, loans and scholarships. This information is useful to me because now I know that there are more options for paying for school.
