  1. We need to accept personal responsibly in our lives because if we do not do things ourselves, most of the time it will never be done and also we will never learn responsibility which is a major factor of living and surviving on your own. One thing from chapter two that helped me answer this is that we will soon be on our own without parental assistance and responsibility is one thing we must learn to adapt to.

  3. We need to have personal responsibilities because is it apart of adult hood. We need to be able to survive and not depend on anyone but yourself. No one is going to hold your hand your whole life. we need to be able to step up and do things on our own. I learned in chapter 2 is that " We are solely responsible for our choices and have to accept the consequence'... Which to mean that mean whether it is a good or bad outcome we are responsible for what we do or say it will in pact our lives.

  4. We need to accept personal responsibility, so we can all grow as individuals. Although we may not be able to control everything around us, we can chose the decisions and feelings we chose to have towards everything. All of the things we do have a certain effect to them, which is because of us. Anything we do, we have to take responsibility for so we can learn to grow and mature from that. What I learned from chapter 2 is basically that we are the creators of our outcome. If we want to do something, it's going to be up to us to do it! And this all happens by our choices.

  5. We need to accept personal responsibility in our lives because our parents wont always be there to take the fault for something we did or didn't do. You have to become a responsible and mature adult if you want to be able to be successful and make it in the "real world". Learn to accept the consequences because not everything will always turn out the way you want them to. You just have to learn to get up and move forward. I learned from chapter 2 that accepting personal responsibility is important because it can say a lot about you as a person and about your future.

  6. I have learned that accepting personal responsibility is a big part of success because without taking full responsibility for our actions will not teach us from our mistakes and will constantly fail at anything we do because we have a closed mindset. One thing that really allowed me to understand the importance of personal responsibility is the Responsibility Model from Chapter 2, which gives you a visual understanding. It shows how thinking like a Victim will seldom achieve goals because they respond to problems by blaming and complaining. As of Creators they will often achieve goals because the respond to problems by seeking for solutions and taking action.

  7. Accepting personal responsibility is something everyone needs to learn and do in their lives. Because we wont have someone holding our hand our entire life. Your parents can't always do everything for you, you need to take the lead in your own life. You need to be a mature and responsible adult in whatever you do. Also its important to accept some things that might not work out the way you want it. One thing that I learned from Chapter 2 is accepting personal responsibility is very important because it shows people how you carry your self and accepting responsibility for something you did.

  8. Reading chapter 2 has made me realize how important it is to accept personal responsibility, our choices do determine our future. I have learned something may be hard for the present time and giving up sounds like the easiest option and even relieves some stress, however the problem never goes away you may not deal with it tomorrow or in a week but it could come back in months. We have consequences for everything that we do whether they are good or bad and as we grow we have to deal with them on our own we can't expect someone to always be by our side or someone to come running to get us out of trouble, everyone has a responsibility and that is their own life.

  9. What I learn in Chapter 2 is accepting personal responsibility is something that everyone needs to learn some day. In the process of growing up you start taking your own responsibility in your own hands. You learn from your mistakes. No one is perfect, but you learn from the mistakes you have done. Your parents can't always do everything for you. You have to take charge of your own responsibilities. Your choices do determine your future in many ways. Everyone has responsibilities but is on their own

  10. I think the some reasons we need to have personal responsibility is 1. it will definitely help you in your college career. 2. you have to be responsible for you self in this world because other people will not solve nor be responsible for your choices. 3. having and accepting personal responsibility will help you grow as a person and gain character 4. people will respect you more if you have some responsibility.

And one thing from chapter 2 that helped me understand accepting personal responsibility even more, is that when you get a bad grade on a exam or somethings are not going your way and accepting that and working hard to improve and turning that negative in to a positive and improving that situation can help you gain personal responsibility in managing that responsibility.

  11. Accepting Personal Responsibility is very important. It shows what kind of person you are. Like not showing up for work or an appointment, not completing tasks on time weather its school or work, and being honest. All these show your professor & employer weather you accept personal responsibility or not.

Chapter 2 that it’s not responsible for you to take things personal weather it’s a misunderstanding with someone or personal failure. These things should make you take a step back and figure out where you dropped the ball. Correct the mistakes and move forward. Time doesn't wait for no one.

  12. We need to accept personal responsibility in our personal to help us work towards our successes in life. It is key to always accept personal responsibility in our professional lives as well because, in a profession there are certain tasks in which you are accounted to with hold and by not doing so over a period of time will lead to failure. it is also important to include personal goals in our academic lives as well, not only to make good grades but, to learn better life skills and become a more well rounded human being. I believe it is important to accept personal responsibility because it helps us learn how to become a more mature and productive member of society and increases our chances of success. One thing from chapter two that I believe helped me gain a better understanding of self responsibility is knowing that it is our own choices that leads to lour successes meaning, that we are in control of all the choices we make in life and ultimately control the outcome of a situation.

  13. We need to accept personal responsibility in our personal life because in my case I have two daughters that depend on me. I have the responsibility to take care of them, watch out for them, dress them, feed them, etc. They depend on me and it is my responsibility to raise them good. In the academic life I have the responsibility to attend class, turn in my assignments and pay close attention to what the professors are asking me to do. This way I get better grades. Those good grades will help me get to my goal of graduating. Responsibility in the professional life for me, means to be on time, organized, dependable, and trustworthy. If I want to get paid good or If I want to succeed in my business I have to have these responsibilities. This will help me a good professional. Different strategies to improve my reading, is what I learned from chapter two. I will definitely apply different strategies to see what works out best for me.

  14. We need to accept personal responsibility in our personal lives because it is important to learn and challenge ourselves. In our personal lives we need to be committed to our family. Our academic life we need to sacrifice our time to complete our assignments. In our professional lives we need to take responsibility and work as a team. One thing that I have learn from chapter 2 is that responsibility is a choice.

  16. Responsibility is a step closer to showing everyone that you're independent. After reading chapter 2, i have realized that i am my own inner-critic. Also responsibility is something i need to work on, because taking responsibility is important in anything i do now and in my future. it may cause us to do things we don't want to and may make us choose our responsibility over going out or having fun but in the end it will all be worth it.
